WHAT HAPPENS EVERY TIME I GIVE?

GENEROSITY IS THE CURE FOR MATERIALISM

“No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.” Matthew 6:24(NIV)

GENEROSITY DEMONSTRATES MY FAITH

“As a result of your ministry, they will give glory to God. For your generosity to them and to all believers will prove that you are obedient to the Good News of Christ.” 2 Corinthians 9:13 (NLT)

“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse… Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.“ Malachi 3:10 (NIV)

GENEROSITY REVEALS MY CHARACTER

“And if you are untrustworthy about worldly wealth, who will trust you with the true riches of heaven?” Luke 16:11 (NLT)

GENEROSITY BRINGS GOD’S BLESSING

“Blessed are those who are generous because they feed the poor.” Proverb 22:9 (NLT)

GENEROSITY INCREASES MY HAPPINESS

“…You should remember the words of the Lord Jesus: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” Acts 20:35 (NLT)

GENEROSITY EXPANDS MY INFLUENCE

“They share freely and give generously to those in need. Their good deeds will be remembered forever. They will have influence and honor.” Psalm 112:9 (NLT)

GENEROSITY MULTIPLIES MY MONEY

“Yes, you will be enriched in every way so that you can always be generous…” 2 Corinthians 9:11a (NLT)

GENEROSITY BRINGS GOD’S PROTECTION

“Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely, who conduct their affairs with justice. 6 Surely the righteous will never be shaken; they will be remembered forever.”
Psalm 112:5-6 (NIV)

GENEROSITY WILL BE REWARDED IN HEAVEN

“Tell them to use their money to do good. They should be rich in good works and generous to those in need, always being ready to share with others.19 By doing this they will be storing up their treasure as a good foundation for the future so that they may experience true life.” 1 Timothy 6:18-19 (NLT)
