Connect in COMMUNITY
At NKCC we have an authentic community that allows us to discover, sharpen, and implement our God-given talents and gifts in ministry to each other, our community, and the world.
Below are our Small Group & Servant Opportunities. There is a little something for everyone!
We believe worship to be an act and an attitude of thanksgiving and praise in all we do. This reaches beyond our weekly services and permeates our daily lives outside the four walls of the church building. The Worship Ministry of NKCC offers multiple opportunities for members to use their talents to glorify God.
Operation Christmas Child
The goal is to send the gospel of Jesus Christ with Christmas gifts to children in third world countries. NKCC participates by working all year to gather items for the boxes. We host our annual shoebox party in November where we assemble the boxes and prepare them to be shipped to a collection center.
NKCC reaches out to other communities of people who are in need. Trips are planned when there is a need that NKCC is called for. If you are interested in participating in future trips or in donating to help with relief efforts please contact the New Kent Christian Center office.
New Kent Christian Academy (NKCA)
NKCA offers infant care, preschool, and before & after school care to elementary students from Quinton, George Watkins and NKCS.
New Kent Christian School (NKCS)

Purpose Medical Outreach (PMO)
PMO needs of volunteers to help make this vision a reality! Everything from those with the gift of mechanics to clerical to medical professionals and everything in between.
Stitches of Love
Creating one-of-a-kind homemade garment is an effort to spread God’s warm embrace. When each item is completed, a word of encouragement is attached, and a prayer of blessing is said for the recipient. This ministry currently serves cancer patients, newborns/premies, the homeless and the needy.
Our Grounds Team is made up of dedicated volunteers who take pride in maintaining our beautiful campus. Whether it's planting flowers, mowing the lawn, or doing general upkeep, our volunteers help keep our grounds looking beautiful for everyone to enjoy.
